1. The Word Became Flesh

2.1 The Deity of Jesus: As the Word, Jesus is fully God and shares the same nature with the Father. John 1:1

2.2 Jesus' Role in Creation: As the Word, Jesus was involved in the creation of everything. John 1:3

2.3 Jesus' Eternal Existence: As the Word, Jesus existed before all things and will exist forever. John 1:2

3. Jesus, the Word, Reveals God to Us

3.1 Jesus as the Perfect (Revelation of God: Jesus, the Word, perfectly displays the character and nature of God. (Hebrews 1 3) Hebrews 1:3

3.2 Jesus as the Truth: As the Word, Jesus embodies and speaks the truth of God. John 14:6

3.3 Jesus as the Light: As the Word, Jesus illuminates the darkness and guides us to God. John 1:5

4. Jesus, the Word, is Our Savior

4.1 Jesus' Sacrifice: As the Word, Jesus gave His life to save us from our sins. John 3:16

4.2 Jesus' Resurrection: As the Word, Jesus conquered death and offers us eternal life. 1 Corinthians 15:3-4

4.3 Jesus' Lordship: As the Word, Jesus is the Lord of all and deserves our faith and obedience. Romans 10:9

5. Responding to Jesus, the Word of God

5.1 Believing in Jesus: We must believe in Jesus, the Word, to receive eternal life. John 3:36

5.2 Following Jesus: We must follow Jesus, the Word, to walk in the light and truth. John 8:12

5.3 Proclaiming Jesus: We must proclaim Jesus, the Word, to share the good news of salvation with others. Romans 10:14
