1.1 God's Love is Unconditional: God's love for us is not based on our performance, our goodness, or our faithfulness. His love is unconditional, meaning it is not based on anything we do or don't do. He loves us because He is love. 1 John 4:8
1.2 God's Love is Sacrificial: God's love is demonstrated in the sacrifice of His Son, Jesus Christ, for our sins. This is the greatest act of love - to lay down one's life for another. John 3:16
1.3 God's Love is Everlasting: God's love for us is eternal. It does not end or change. His love for us today is the same as it was before we were born and will be the same after we die. Jeremiah 31:3
2.1 God's Forgiveness is Complete: When God forgives us, He removes our sins as far as the east is from the west. He does not remember them anymore. His forgiveness is complete and total. Psalm 103:12
2.2 God's Forgiveness is Freely Given: God's forgiveness is not something we earn or deserve. It is a gift that He freely gives to us because of His great love for us. Ephesians 2:8-9
2.3 God's Forgiveness Brings Freedom: When we receive God's forgiveness, we are set free from the guilt and shame of our sins. We are no longer slaves to sin, but are free to live a life of righteousness. Romans 6:18
3.1 We Must Accept God's Love and Forgiveness: God's love and forgiveness are offered to us freely, but we must choose to accept them. We do this by confessing our sins and trusting in Jesus Christ as our Savior. 1 John 1:9
3.2 We Must Love Others as God Loves Us: As recipients of God's love, we are called to love others in the same way. This means loving them unconditionally, sacrificially, and eternally. John 13:34
3.3 We Must Forgive Others as God Forgives Us: Just as God has forgiven us, we are called to forgive others. This means releasing them from the debt they owe us and choosing not to hold their sins against them. Matthew 6:14-15
