Sermon on
Speed of God's Judgment

1. Understanding God's Timing

1.1 God's timing is perfect: He is never early or late. His judgment comes at the right time. Ecclesiastes 3:1

1.2 God's timing is not our timing: He is eternal, we are finite. His ways are higher than our ways. Isaiah 55:8-9

1.3 God's timing is purposeful: Every event under heaven has a purpose and a time. Ecclesiastes 3:17

2. The Certainty of God's Judgment

2.1 God's judgment is certain: God is just and He will judge the world in righteousness. Acts 17:31

2.2 God's judgment is impartial: He shows no favoritism. Everyone will be judged according to their deeds. Romans 2:6

2.3 God's judgment is final: There is no appeal or reversal. Hebrews 9:27

3. The Speed of God's Judgment

3.1 God's judgment may seem slow: God is patient, not wanting anyone to perish. 2 Peter 3:9

3.2 God's judgment can come swiftly: When the time is right, His judgment comes quickly. Revelation 22:12

3.3 God's judgment is sudden: It comes like a thief in the night. 1 Thessalonians 5:2

4. Preparing for God's Judgment

4.1 Repentance: Turn from sin and turn to God. Acts 3:19

4.2 Faith in Jesus: Believe in Jesus for salvation. John 3:16

4.3 Live Righteously: Live a life pleasing to God. 1 Peter 1:15-16

5. The Grace of God in Judgment

5.1 God's desire is for salvation, not judgment: God sent His Son to save, not to condemn. John 3:17

5.2 God's grace is available to all: Anyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved. Romans 10:13

5.3 God's grace is greater than judgment: Where sin increased, grace increased all the more. Romans 5:20
