1.1 The Hebrew and Greek Words for Glory: Hebrew Kabod - This word often refers to the weight or heaviness of someone's reputation or honor. It can also refer to the splendor or grandeur of God's presence. 1 Chronicles 29:11

1.2 Greek: Doxa Greek Doxa - This term is used in the New Testament to refer to the magnificence, excellence, preeminence, dignity, grace, and majesty of God. It can also refer to the visible manifestation of God's presence. John 1:14
