Sermon on
The Devil

3. The Devil's Tactics

3.1 Doubt and Deception: The devil uses doubt and deception to lead people away from God. He plants seeds of doubt in people's minds about God's word and His love. Genesis 3:1-5

3.2 Temptation and Sin: The devil tempts people to sin, promising them pleasure and satisfaction, but leading them to destruction. James 1:14-15

3.3 Fear and Discouragement: The devil uses fear and discouragement to paralyze believers and prevent them from living out their faith. 1 Peter 5:8

4. Overcoming the Devil

4.1 The Power of Christ: Through Christ, believers have the power to overcome the devil. Christ defeated the devil on the cross and gives believers the victory. Colossians 2:15

4.2 The Armor of God: Believers can stand against the devil's schemes by putting on the full armor of God. Ephesians 6:11-18

4.3 Resisting the Devil: By resisting the devil and drawing near to God, the devil will flee from believers. James 4:7

5. The Devil's Final Defeat

5.1 The Second Coming of Christ: When Christ returns, He will cast the devil into the lake of fire, where he will be tormented forever. Revelation 20:10

5.2 The Victory of Believers: Believers will share in Christ's victory over the devil and will reign with Christ forever. Revelation 20:6
