The Different Types of Spiritual Fruit

 

1. Love

1.1 Unconditional Love: This is the type of love that God has for us, and it's the type of love that we should strive to have for others. It's a love that doesn't depend on what the other person does or doesn't do. It's a love that is always there, no matter what. John 3:16

1.2 Sacrificial Love: This is the type of love that is willing to give up everything for the sake of the other person. It's the type of love that Jesus demonstrated when He died on the cross for our sins. John 15:13

2. Joy

2.1 Inner Joy: This is the type of joy that comes from knowing God and being in a relationship with Him. It's a joy that is not dependent on external circumstances, but is rooted in the assurance of God's love and faithfulness. Psalm 16:11

2.2 Expressive Joy: This is the type of joy that is expressed through praise and worship. It's a joy that is not ashamed to celebrate God's goodness and grace. Psalm 100:1-2

3. Peace

3.1 Inner Peace: This is the type of peace that comes from trusting in God and surrendering all our worries and anxieties to Him. It's a peace that surpasses all understanding. Philippians 4:7

3.2 Relational Peace: This is the type of peace that we strive to maintain in our relationships with others. It's a peace that seeks to resolve conflicts and promote unity. Romans 12:18

4. Patience

4.1 Enduring Patience: This is the type of patience that enables us to endure trials and tribulations without losing faith. It's a patience that waits on God's timing. James 1:12

4.2 Tolerant Patience: This is the type of patience that shows tolerance towards others, understanding their weaknesses and shortcomings. It's a patience that is slow to anger and quick to forgive. Colossians 3:13

5. Kindness

5.1 Compassionate Kindness: This is the type of kindness that shows compassion towards those who are suffering or in need. It's a kindness that seeks to alleviate the pain and suffering of others. Ephesians 4:32

5.2 Generous Kindness: This is the type of kindness that is generous in giving to others. It's a kindness that does not hold back, but gives freely and abundantly. Proverbs 11:25

6. Goodness

6.1 Moral Goodness: This is the type of goodness that strives to live a life of integrity and righteousness. It's a goodness that seeks to do what is right in the eyes of God. Micah 6:8

6.2 Beneficial Goodness: This is the type of goodness that seeks to benefit others. It's a goodness that is not self-serving, but seeks the welfare of others. Galatians 6:10

7. Faithfulness

7.1 Steadfast Faithfulness: This is the type of faithfulness that remains steadfast in faith, even in the midst of trials and tribulations. It's a faithfulness that trusts in God's promises. 1 Corinthians 16:13

7.2 Loyal Faithfulness: This is the type of faithfulness that remains loyal to God and to others. It's a faithfulness that does not waver, but remains true to its commitments. Proverbs 3:3

8. Gentleness

8.1 Humble Gentleness: This is the type of gentleness that is humble and meek in spirit. It's a gentleness that does not seek to exalt itself, but seeks to serve others. Matthew 11:29

8.2 Considerate Gentleness: This is the type of gentleness that is considerate and sensitive towards the feelings of others. It's a gentleness that is not harsh or abrasive, but is gentle and kind. Philippians 4:5

9. Self-Control

9.1 Disciplined Self-Control: This is the type of self-control that exercises discipline over our thoughts, words, and actions. It's a self-control that seeks to live a life that is pleasing to God. 1 Corinthians 9:25

9.2 Restrained Self-Control: This is the type of self-control that restrains from indulging in sinful desires and temptations. It's a self-control that seeks to live a life of purity and holiness. Galatians 5:16
