1.1 Jesus promises eternal life to those who believe in Him. "For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life." John 3:16
1.2 This promise is not based on our works but on God's grace. "For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith—and this is not from yourselves, it is the gift of God." Ephesians 2:8
1.3 The promise of eternal life gives us hope and assurance. "And this is the testimony: God has given us eternal life, and this life is in his Son." 1 John 5:11
2.1 Jesus promises the Holy Spirit to guide and empower us. "But the Advocate, the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in my name, will teach you all things and will remind you of everything I have said to you." John 14:26
2.2 The Holy Spirit is our helper and comforter. "And I will ask the Father, and he will give you another advocate to help you and be with you forever." John 14:16
2.3 The Holy Spirit empowers us to be witnesses for Christ. "But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit comes on you; and you will be my witnesses in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the ends of the earth." Acts 1:8
3.1 Jesus promises to return and take us to be with Him. "And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come back and take you to be with me that you also may be where I am." John 14:3
3.2 His return will be visible to all. "Look, he is coming with the clouds, and every eye will see him, even those who pierced him; and all peoples on earth will mourn because of him. So shall it be! Amen." Revelation 1:7
3.3 We should live in anticipation of His return. "Therefore keep watch, because you do not know on what day your Lord will come." Matthew 24:42
4.1 Jesus promises peace that the world cannot give. "Peace I leave with you; my peace I give you. I do not give to you as the world gives. Do not let your hearts be troubled and do not be afraid." John 14:27
4.2 His peace guards our hearts and minds. "And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus." Philippians 4:7
4.3 We can have peace in the midst of trials. "I have told you these things, so that in me you may have peace. In this world you will have trouble. But take heart! I have overcome the world." John 16:33
