1.1 Satan deceives by twisting truth: Satan is known for twisting the truth to suit his purposes. He uses half-truths and misinterpretations to lead people astray. He did this in the Garden of Eden with Eve, and he continues to do so today. Genesis 3:1-5
1.2 Satan deceives by masquerading as an angel of light: Satan often presents himself as something good or beneficial in order to deceive. He can make wrong seem right and evil seem good. This is why it's crucial to test everything against God's Word. 2 Corinthians 11:14
2.1 Satan tempts us to sin: Satan tempts us to sin by appealing to our fleshly desires. He knows our weaknesses and uses them against us. But we can resist him by standing firm in our faith. James 1:14-15
2.2 Satan tempts us to doubt God: Satan also tempts us to doubt God's goodness and love for us. He wants us to question God's Word and His promises. But we can overcome this by trusting in God and His Word. Genesis 3:4-5
3.1 Satan accuses us before God: Satan is known as the accuser of the brethren. He constantly accuses us before God, trying to make us feel guilty and unworthy. But Christ is our advocate, and He has paid the price for our sins. Revelation 12:10
3.2 Satan accuses us to ourselves: Satan also accuses us to ourselves, bringing up our past sins and failures to make us feel guilty and condemned. But we can overcome this by confessing our sins and receiving God's forgiveness. 1 John 1:9
4.1 Satan seeks to destroy our relationship with God: Satan's ultimate goal is to destroy our relationship with God. He does this by promoting sin and rebellion against God. But we can resist him by drawing near to God and submitting to His authority. James 4:7
4.2 Satan seeks to destroy our lives: Satan also seeks to destroy our lives by promoting destructive behaviors and attitudes. He wants to steal, kill, and destroy. But Jesus came to give us life in abundance. John 10:10
