1. The Power of Words

1.1 Words have the ability to create or destroy. They can build up or tear down, encourage or discourage, heal or hurt. Proverbs 18:21

1.2 God used words to create the universe. He spoke, and it came into existence. Genesis 1:3

1.3 Jesus is referred to as the Word of God, indicating the power and significance of words. John 1:1

2. Words as a Guide

2.1 God's words are a lamp to our feet and a light to our path, guiding us in the right direction. Psalm 119:105

2.2 The Holy Spirit uses words to guide us into all truth and reveal things to come. John 16:13

2.3 Wise words from others can guide us and help us avoid pitfalls. Proverbs 13:20

3. Words as Instruction

3.1 God's words instruct us in righteousness and equip us for every good work. 2 Timothy 3:16-17

3.2 The words of wise people can instruct us and increase our knowledge. Proverbs 1:5

3.3 Jesus used parables ‚Äì stories with a moral lesson ‚Äì to instruct His followers. Matthew 13:10-13

4. The Responsibility of Words

4.1 As believers, we are called to speak words of life that build up and encourage others. Ephesians 4:29

4.2 We will be held accountable for every careless word we speak. Matthew 12:36

4.3 We should strive to have our words be pleasing to God. Psalm 19:14

5. The Transformation of Words

5.1 God's word has the power to transform our minds and change our lives. Romans 12:2

5.2 The words of the gospel can bring people to faith in Christ. Romans 10:17

5.3 As we fill our minds with God's words, our own words will become more like His. Psalm 119:11
